The way the co-op works is we have playgroups to get to know one another (and our kids!) so we feel comfortable leaving our kids with each other. No money is exchanged. You start with 10 hours (one of which goes to the administrator) and you sit for others and have others sit for you and exchange hours.

The administrator switches every six months with either a volunteer or if no one volunteers a random drawing. The benefit of being administrator is an hour from each active member added to you account!!

There are currently no playgroups scheduled, but keep a look-out on the LMC Yahoo! Group for co-op discussions and upcoming playdates.
